Church of the Nations offers English Conversation most Friday nights starting at 7:30 p.m. in various American homes. Yes - in American homes! (A different home each week.)
Those who come divide into two or more small groups. Each group has a teacher/leader. We do not use textbooks or follow a set course for teaching English. So you can choose which group you want to be in. And if you miss an English Conversation time it does not mean you will have to catch up.
We meet for about one hour and then have time for drinks and snacks.
You can drive yourself or - if you live on/near the LSU campus - you can ride the church bus. Make sure you visit our website to check dates and locations.
Please note that English Conversation is for people who know at least some English. We do not have a class for beginners (people who do not know English or know almost no English).
Please do not bring children. We do not have childcare or a program for children during English Conversation. If you bring children they might distract you and make it difficult to concentrate on learning and practicing English.
