We have a Bible study class for beginners in simple English and a class for people who know the Bible well. There are also special classes and activities for children and youth. Worship is in simple English – we sing songs, pray, hear Bible stories, and the pastor gives a short presentation.
If you live on or near Louisiana State University the church bus can pick you up and give you a ride.

Please allow 5-10 minutes for the bus to arrive because of weather or traffic. You can also drive yourself. We are at 5775 Highland Road, 70808. If you drive yourself turn into the back parking lot.

Very important! We will have a different schedule for Sunday morning activities. The new schedule will not start until Sunday June 3. This is summer schedule. We will go back to normal schedule again in August.

This coming Sunday is Easter Sunday - the most important day in the Christian calendar! The day that Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. We invite you to:

- Worship at 11:00 a.m. This Sunday we will join with University Baptist Church in the “big sanctuary”.
The church bus will pick up people at the normal places at the regular times starting at Edward Gay apartments at 9:40 a.m.
This week is Holy Week – a very important time in the Christian calendar. We want everyone to know about our special activities this week. Please come and participate!
Thursday April 5 - Maundy Thursday. “Big sanctuary” at 7:00 p.m. This special worship time will focus on the evening before the the day that Jesus dies on the cross. When Jesus shares a last meal with his friends. Bible readings and Communion.
Friday April 6 - Good Friday. Also in the “big sanctuary” at 2:30 p.m. A time of silent worship that will focus on the suffering and death of Jesus.
New Year’s Day is this Sunday January 1 2012. We invite you to join us at 10:30 a.m. for worship. After worship we have a free lunch together. All internationals are welcome! Please note – we return to our regular Sunday morning activities and schedule starting January 8 2012.

This Sunday December 11 starting at 10:30 a.m. Church of the Nations will be with University Baptist Church for worship in the “big sanctuary”. This will be a special worship service with Christmas music by the choir with small orchestra. Please come and join us for the beautiful music!
