Church work day – Saturday November 5

This Saturday November 5 is a “church work day” from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

What is a “church work day”? It is a day when we help take care of the wonderful church property that we enjoy using. We might clean, paint, repair. We also need people to help with drinks, snacks, and encouraging volunteer workers. No one has to participate. But if you have time Saturday morning and would like to help you will be very welcome. There will be something to do for everyone. There will be a volunteer supervisor who has a list of things for us to do.

Church of the Nations has been asked to help this Saturday. There will be four other groups from University Baptist Church. If you come make sure you wear “work clothes” – clothes that can get dirty.

Fall Fest this Sunday evening!

This Sunday evening October 23 University Baptist Church will have its “Fall Fest” event. This event is mostly but not only for children. Children can also wear costumes – but please no monsters or scary costumes. It will start on the “front property” of University Baptist Church close to Highland Road.
