*Correction* Movie night! “Hugo” or “Over the Hedge” – Friday May 11

Church of the Nations will offer movie night this Friday, May 11 starting at 7:00 p.m. We will turn the chapel into a giant movie theater! Free drinks, snacks, and delicious popcorn. Children are especially welcome. This activity is free!

(Note – We suggest you bring a sweater or light jacket. When the air conditioning is on sometimes the chapel can become a little cold. Just like an American movie theater!)

Important update - We will show “Hugo” or “Over the Hedge. (Depends on if we can find a copy of “Over the Hedge”.) Rick Wright watched “The Muppets” and it is a very good and funny movie – but people might not understand it if they don’t remember “The Muppets” television show.

Hugo is the amazing adventure of a clever and resourceful boy who seeks to unlock a secret left to him by his father will transform Hugo and all those around him, and reveal a safe and loving place he can call home.

Over the Hedge is about a group of animals in the forest who wake up after the winter. They discover that humans built a new neighborhood next to their – now much smaller – forest. This very funny movie is about the clever things the animals do to steal food from their human neighbor – and the crazy things the neighbor does to stop them.

You can drive yourself to the church building or the church bus can pick you up at:

  1. Edward Gay at 6:35 p.m.

Please allow 5-10 minutes for the bus to arrive because of weather or traffic.
