Freedom and the Internet? English Conversation – Friday January 27

Have you heard a about SOPA and PIPA during the last several weeks? What is “piracy”? How much freedom should people have on the Internet?

Come talk about these issues at English Conversation this Friday, January 27 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the home of

You can drive there yourself or you can ride on the church bus which picks up from:

  • Highland Plantation bus stop at 6:55 p.m.
  • Edward Gay apartments (outside gate) at 7:05 p.m.
  • Tiger Towers (outside front gate) at 7:08 p.m.
  • Nicholson apartments (covered bus stop) at 7:10 p.m.
  • Tigerland at 7:15 p.m.
  • Brightside (bus stop near Circle K gas station) at 7:18 p.m.

Please allow 5-10 minutes for the bus to arrive because of weather or traffic.

Directions (pretty close to campus):

  1. drive southeast from LSU along Highland Road
  2. cross Lee Drive
  3. turn left onto Leeward Drive (just like you are driving to the church)
  4. turn right onto Menlo
  5. quickly turn left (at the park) onto Leeward
  6. turn left onto Boone
  7. at the corner turn right onto Dubois
  8. look for house 744 on the right just before a hill that goes down
