Church of the Nations will take a group to see the New York Metropolitan Opera perform “Le Comte Ory” by Gioachino Rossini on Saturday April 09 starting at 12:00 noon. No we will not fly to New York City – we can see a live broadcast of the performance at the movie theater. “Le Comte Ory” is a comedy that tells the story of two men who love the same woman. - Highland Plantation/Duplantier at 11:00 a.m.
- Edward Gay apartments at 11:10 a.m.
- Nicholson bus stop at 11:15 a.m.
- (Tigerland – if someone asks me to pick them up there – at 11:20 a.m.)
Please eat lunch before you come. We ask for $10 to help with the cost of the tickets. Please let Rick Wright know if you want to come by Thursday April 08 so he can purchase enough tickets!
