Church of the Nations takes a break from English Conversation during December because it is such a busy month – with exams and projects and graduation and Christmas activities.

Please note that English Conversation will be at a different time this Friday! It will start at 7:00 p.m. Also please reply to this email if you plan to come. We need to know how many are coming so that we can have enough transportation.

You can drive yourself or ride on the church bus which will pick up 40 minutes earlier than normal:
- Edward Gay at 6:30 p.m.
- Tiger Towers at 6:33 p.m.
- Nicholson apartments at 6:35 p.m.
- Tigerland at 6:40 p.m.
- Jennifer Jean at 6:43 p.m.
Please allow 5-7 minutes for the bus to arrive because of weather or traffic.
Directions from Louisiana State University:
- Drive southeast on Highland Road
- Turn left onto Woodstone – about 1.5 km past College Drive
- Turn right onto Boone
- Turn left onto Woodruff
- Turn right onto Sandstone
- Look for house 6630 on the right of the circle
- Do *not* park in any other driveways or on anyone’s grass – be careful to park only on the street

- At the end of Hyacinth turn right onto Brame

- Turn left onto South Belvedere
- House 5280 is on the right
Church of the Nations will offer movie night this Friday, November 05 starting at 7:00 p.m. We will turn the chapel into a giant movie theater! Free drinks, snacks, and popcorn. Children are also welcome.
We plan to show the movie “How to Train Your Dragon”. Yes I know – another cartoon. But Pastor Rick enjoys this movie very much and think adults and children both will like it. It has a score of 98% at Rotten Tomatoes movie website which is extremely high.
You can drive yourself to the church building or the church bus can pick you up from Edward Gay at 6:45 p.m. then Tiger Towers at 6:48 p.m. finally Nicholson bus stop at 6:50 p.m. Please allow 5-7 minutes for the bus to arrive because of weather or traffic.
Please join us for lunch this Sunday November 07 starting at 12:30 p.m. after our morning worship! We also have our regular Sunday morning activities including Bible study (in simple English) and worship (in simple English).

Make sure you move your clocks one hour backwards before you go to bed Saturday night.
Or else you will be one hour early for every activity on Sunday.
