This trip is full right now. We have 25 people signed up and cannot take any more – unless people can drive themselves.
Church of the Nations will take a group to visit the Global Wildlife Center in Hammond this coming Saturday October 16.* This trip is primarily for families with children and other people who participate in Friday or Sunday activities.
People can drive themselves or ride on the church bus if there is room. The church bus will pick up people who need a ride starting at Edward Gay apartments at 9:30 a.m. We will leave from the church parking lot no later than 10:00 a.m. We will arrive at the Global Wildlife Center by 11:00 a.m. Then have a picnic lunch (sandwiches and so on). Then start our tour at 12:00 noon. We should be back in Baton Rouge around 3:30 p.m.
The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Please wear comfortable clothes. We recommend you bring (1) a hat and (2) a light jacket. Sometimes the weather is sunny and warm. Usually when we go the weather is cool and windy.
