Many of you know our good friend Jean Barrett “fell asleep in the Lord” last Thursday during the night. She had been in Houston since January so that she could receive treatment for leukemia. Jean along with her husband Bob and mother “Mimi” have been a valuable and special part of Church of the Nations for many years. Some of you may remember that for more than 2 years she coordinated English Conversation. We will miss her greatly.
The memorial service will be this Saturday, November 28 starting at 11:00 a.m. in the “big sanctuary” at University Baptist Church. Visitation (when you can visit with the family) will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
(There will not be a church bus to pick people up for this. But we do hope many of you are still able to come.)
