The schedule for Bible study and worship will be different this Sunday, May 31. Please note!
- Bible study begins at 9:15 a.m.
- Worship begins at 10:30 a.m.
(This is because University Baptist Church has a different schedule – and because we share facilities and childcare it is easiest for us to change our schedule as well.)
The church bus will pick people up from the usual places starting at 9:00 a.m. (One hour earlier than usual.)
Please note that the schedule returns to normal next week Sunday, June 07! The different times are for this and only this Sunday!

The Choir of the Nations will practice again this Friday, May 29 starting at 6:00 p.m. It will be in the chapel at University Baptist Church.
There are a few people who need transportation and this week Leo Stanley will kindly pick people up starting at Edward Gay at 5:35 p.m. and Nicholson bus stop at 5:40 p.m. (Please note 5 minutes later than before – traffic will become easier during the summer.)
Pastor Rick would like to ask as a personal favor:
- Please try to be at choir practice on time at 6:00 p.m.
- Unless there is somewhere else you must be – please come to choir practice!
Our first two practices we had outstanding attendance – 100 percent! The last two practices have been more like 50-70% attendance. Let us get back to 100% if we can! Choir practice is much more fun and productive when everyone is there and on time. Thanks!
(Final note – the choir is still open to new people who would like to join.)

Church of the Nations will offer movie night this Friday, May 22 starting at 7:00 p.m. We will turn the chapel into a giant movie theater! Free drinks, snacks, and popcorn. Children are also welcome.
We plan to show the movie “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa”. Yes I know – another (computer animated) cartoon. But it has some music and singing. It is very funny. And should be enjoyable for children as well as adults. Basically it is a fun and funny movie.
You can drive yourself to the church building or the church bus can pick you up from Edward Gay at 6:45 p.m. then Tiger Towers at 6:48 p.m. finally Nicholson bus stop at 6:50 p.m. Please allow 3-5 minutes for the bus to arrive because of weather or traffic.
